Sincere condolences to Mary, Brian and Ronan and of course to Aunty Pat on the departure of my (and lots of other nephews and nieces') Uncle Joe, RIP.
Very sorry that I couldn't be with you on 7 June but very glad that my brother Anto and my sister Niamh were able to travel from Ireland and Italy respectively, as were many others I hear.
I, and I'm sure everyone who saw it and heard it - including my Mum Maura, have a very happy memory of Uncle Joe singing 'Come Back Paddy Reilly' with great gusto at the Doherty sing-song in Westmeath in 2017. Joe's good-humoured chats with us, when he used to pop in when we were growing up in Dublin, are another happy memory.
