In loving memory of Malcolm John Weller 'Mal', who sadly passed away on 7th May 2024, aged 79 years.

Mal, or Popa as he was affectionately known to his grandchildren, lived an extraordinarily colourful life and made friends wherever he lived, in the UK, Australia and Tasmania. He would light up any room, in any street, in any country, and was loved by so many. He will be sorely missed.

Donations in lieu of flowers, in Mal's memory, would be preferred and would be gratefully received for the 'RSPCA' via the link on this page. Alternatively, Mal's family would encourage buying a plant for your garden, in his memory.

Flowers may be sent, if desired, c/o John Weir Funeral Directors, 130-132 High Street, Rainham, Kent, ME8 8AR for 2.00 pm on the day of the service.

With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of our beloved Uncle Malc whose adventurous spirit and boundless energy touched everyone he met. Uncle Malc was a vibrant force in our lives, known for his wild stories, infectious laughter, and spirit of pure mischief. He lived life on his own terms, embracing every moment with joy and enthusiasm. We will deeply miss his unique charm, but his memory will forever inspire us to live boldly and love fiercely. Rest in peace, dear Uncle Malc.

Paul wrote this on behalf of himself, Darren, Jason and Adam.

β€œAt times like this,
We may look through books for the perfect words
To give form to our feelings,
Make the thing complete,
Set the matter at rest.
Yet, in hours of searching,
Each piece lies rejected - too precise, too difficult, too sweet,
Too harsh, implying what we do not wish to say."
