In loving memory of Valerie 'Val' Joan Hemingway, who sadly passed away on 20th May 2024.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of "Our Val", a cherished sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Val passed away on the 20th of May 2024, her illness progressing much quicker than any of us expected.

Val was fun-loving, full of energy, constantly on the go, and a huge part of all of our lives. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her huge smile, sense of humor, and the time she gave to the things and people close to her touched the hearts of many.

We will always remember her sense of humour and the way she brightened every room she entered. Though she may no longer be with us, Val's memory will forever live on in our hearts. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for years to come. Rest in peace and rise in Glory, Auntie Val.

All are welcome to join us to celebrate Val's life at Gedling Crematorium on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024, at 1 p.m. The family invite all to the Gedling Inn after the service.
