In loving memory of George Elvis Carey. Born 23/06/1947. Passed 15/05/2024. A kind hearted gentleman who fought his illness with courage and dignity.
Sadly George didn't get as much time as he had hoped after first getting his diagnosis, but would like to thank every one of his friends who he loved dearly and who loved him back.
The Date of the funeral is Tuesday 18th May 2024. Either meeti g at George's home at 9am or meeting at Hither Green Crematorium at 10am for a 1hour service. After the service the cortege will leave the crematorium and proceed to Grove Park Cemetery, Marvels Lane for a burial at 11.30am. Where George will be reunited with his mum and dad and his beloved Labrador dog Scottie.
Anybody attending, may if they wish, buy floral tributes. However George would probably of preferred people to make a donation to St Christopher's Hospice at Laurie Park Road, Sydenham. This can be done either on the day at a collection at the crematorium or via George's Just Giving Page.
