Carol Hodgkins (29 May 1944 - 5 May 2024)

Barol, I always used to say “what we gonna do with you eh?” And now I ask “what are we gonna do without you?” 💔
How I wish we could come see you again, and have you tell us all the latest gossip, or all the stories of you growing up. You used to say “I’m a ****, my dad was” 😂 everyone was one too!
I know you’ll be watching over, and I hope we do you proud on Monday.💛
One day I’ll see you again, and you’ll smirk at me and tell everyone “she makes me roll, she does”. I hope you’ll be waiting with open arms.
Rest easy up there with Brian, I know you’ve missed him for a long time. Like we’re gonna miss you for a long time, but like your (my) boyfriend says, it’s not a goodbye, it’s a see you later.
So I’ll see you later, Barol. 💛

A truly wonderful lady, one of a kind. I will miss her amazing sense of humor that would have you laughing for hours. Love and condolences to Deb and the rest of the family.

Auntie Carol- We miss you more than words could ever express, the void you have left behind NO ONE could ever fill. You were always my ‘other Mum’ and you always had my back and supported me when ever I needed you ❤️ I will do my very best to look after Mum and I know you will help me along the way.
I will continue to keep your memory alive and will always feel so lucky to have had you in my life.

So many fond memories growing up. You always welcomed me in when I came round to see Rachael. Even when I was older and we would see you out and about we would always stop and talk. RIP lovely Carol, you will be greatly missed by everyone who knew you.
