Peter James Daish (29 Nov 1952 - 8 Apr 2024)

In loving memory of Peter Daish who sadly passed away on 8th April 2024

Peter recently retired as the Headteacher of an International School in Prague, a post he held for 23 years. Prior to this he was a Headteacher in Kent. He has also held the post of Head of Science at a school in Papua New Guinea and had various other teaching positions in the UK.

He was a pupil at Hook-with-Warsash School, as was his mother, his grandfather and all his siblings and cousins. Their relationship with the village is over a number of generations. His great, great grandfather was the coastguard, his great grandfather was the village carpenter and a master wheelwright, and his great grandmother owned the general store at Warsash Corner. Peter’s Grandfather was a strawberry grower and his grandmother, before her marriage was in service at Warsash House.

Peter sadly passed away unexpectedly in Prague following complications with treatment for a broken leg.
