David Tideswell (20 Apr 1959 - 14 May 2024)

Apologies for the delay but Just Ride Southend want to acknowledge the amazing support of Havens Hospice in all they do but also the wonderful care of David who was a founding trustees 10 years ago, mechanic, crew volunteer, friend, and inspiration to us all and so dearly missed.

Just read that David had passed away,we are so very sad. He lived up the road to us ,always wanted to help my special son Merrick.He always popped by to see how we were doing.Rest in the arms of Jesus.Eternal rivers flow. With our love Marilynn and Merrick xx

We have many memories of David helping at Just Ride and his mechanical talents for fixing broken bikes. Sadly missed.

We have many happy memories of David especially around the community, sadly missed.

David was a lively, enthusiastic and determined man. As a young boy he and my brother, Andrew Matts - who also had cerebral palsy, shared a great sense of humour.

After Andrew and then my Dad died he continued to visit my Mum -Barbara, for afternoon tea and a chat which she thoroughly enjoyed. Fond memories.
