Michael James Roberts (3 May 1952 - 6 May 2024)

In loving memory of Michael James Roberts who sadly passed away on 6th May 2024. Michael was a loving husband to Maria, father to Terry & Sally, and grandfather to Owen, Jayden and Noah. Michael & Maria first met when Michael came to London from Torquay in 1969, he was 17 years old and ready to start his career with the Post Office. That summer he met Maria, an 18 year old from Spain who bought a stamp from his counter every day. They married in 1972, and were together for a further 52 years until Michael sadly died of pneumonia and cancer earlier this month. Michael was an intelligent, kind, family orientated man who always thought of others. He was a keen gardener, an expert at chess, and enjoyed a successful career with a specialism in Learning and Development that lead to job opportunities from a variety of employers including the Law Courts and the NHS. Dad, we miss you every day and we love you.
