Barbara Ann Nicklin (22 May 1940 - 5 May 2024)

I was so sorry to hear the news of Barbara’s passing.
She was always kind ready to laugh when I used to be round almost every weekend.
Sending deepest condolences and best wishes to the family.

Dear Barbara, Although I didn't get to meet you in person, your granddaughter in law spoke so sweetly of you, I feel I know you a little. Thank you for being her Nan and welcoming her into your family. I wish we had met.

Thank you for being my nanny. I feel so incredibly lucky I got to have another.
Thank you for accepting and loving me like I was your own. Thank you for being there when I was homesick, and I missed my family. You helped me understand that family wasn't far away, and you were there for me.
I'll always be there for your family too.

We'll remember you when we see the robins, and the cardinals. I'll take care of your silly gnomes and I'll try to get your sewing machine fixed.
Whenever I go swimming or try to sew or see a pretty crystal necklace or a cute little animal trinket, I'll get to think of you, sweet lady. Every time I see the word hello, I think about your silly voice saying it.

I will miss you so much but I have someone to strive to be like the rest of my life.
You are so loved. <3

Barbara was a beautiful and caring mother in law, who brought so much happiness and laughter in to all of our lives. Memories of her will keep a smile on our faces and continue to make us laugh forever more.

As a family, we were honoured to have had Barbara in our lives since moving to Burton. The laughs, the cheeky spirited comments, and the stories we shared will forever be etched in our memories. We won't say goodbye, Barbara, but until we meet again, we will forever love and miss you. Your Cousin Sylvia and Family xxx 💕

We are so sad to hear you've lost your mum and wife we have special memories of when we used to all play together as children and come to your house we are thinking of u all she was a lovely special lady take care of each other love from Sharon and Jayne xxxxx
