Mrs Stephanie ‘Stevie’ Kay Povey (née Window) was a caring mother, grandmother and friend. Stevie passed away peacefully on Sunday 5th May, aged 75 years.
Stevie was born to Marguerita and Kenneth Window on October 21st 1948 in Cardiff. After graduating from high school, Stevie joined the civil service where she worked between Cardiff and London. She later had secondments with both the UN and NATO. Following the birth of her son, Léon, she relocated to her father’s hometown area of Pembrokeshire in 1983. A popular figure in her beloved village of Penally, she worked at both the village school and the post office in later life.

The funeral service will take place on Wednesday 22nd May 2024 at St. Nicholas Church, Penally at 11.00am followed by interment at Tenby New Cemetery.
It is the family’s wish that no formal funeral attire is required, please wear clothing in which you feel comfortable.

There will be family flowers only with donations in lieu if so desired for Macmillan Cancer Support which may be sent
