In loving memory of Diane Olufunmilayo Modupe Amisu (Nee Onaderu) who sadly passed away on 19th April 2024. Diane was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunty and friend. She was born in London, UK on 5th March 1970 to the Late Mr & Mrs Onaderu who doted on her and was the younger sister and only sibling to Femi Onaderu. She left the UK to return to Nigeria with her family in 1976. She finished her primary school at Maryland Convent Primary School. Between 1980 and 1985 She went to Immaculate Heart Comprehensive Secondary School where she met her husband Adekunle. She obtained her OND from Ogun State Polytechnic Nigeria in 1989. She moved back to the UK in 1990 where she reunited with the love of her life Adekunle. They got married in 1991. Their marriage was blessed with three children (Tobi, Segun and Tomi), son in law (Tolu Atewogboye) and a granddaughter (Keziah-Grace). Diane gave her life to God in 1990 and attended the London Riverside Church Dagenham with her family from 2012 until she passed away. She was a passionate believer in living for christ and was committed to being a practical demonstration of the gospel everywhere she went to. She worked with PwC (1997 - 2018) and Gateway Property Management (2018 - 2024) in Account Payable roles. She was also a Director in the family businesses. Despite her full time employment, Diane was a selfless and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also found time to volunteer at the various schools her children attended and she supported various charities and ministries. Her free time was spent looking after her family and no sacrifice was too big for her provided they were happy. She was very strong, courageous and her faith in God was unshakable even as she battled cancer. She brought colour to all lives and she will be dearly missed.

I'm heart broken, I know we will all be gone at some point in our lives but I wonder why God would take away very lovely people to Cancer. It makes me question my faith in God. Lady D was at my wedding so many years ago dancing and making my whole family exceptionally happy. I just found out about her passing away just a week ago and I know everybody leaving tributes on this page is heart broken even when you are typing or writing this tribute to a very lovely Woman, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Why will God take a lovely woman and wont even let her celebrate the first birthday of her grand daughter. May her soul rest in peace and we will pick up the pieces and do what we can to support all she has left behind. Also Kunle my dear friend I love you and stay strong for the family.

Losing you is painful.
But it is better to have loved and lost than never at all.
My heart broke when God called you home 6 months ago.
I still don’t understand why.
I miss you everyday.
I am grateful to have been your husband.
Thank you for your love and the wonderful memories that will never fade away.
Continue to rest in peace my Queen.

Not a day goes by without me thinking about you and missing you immensely. I miss seeing your messsges on my phone, I miss our evening FaceTimes and you saying “my little peanut” and singing your “Omo T” song 💔💔. Kezi is not so little now 🥹. She’s one and we threw her the best celebrations but felt so surrreal without your physical presence 😭😭. You would’ve been proud with how everything turned out. You taught us well in terms of how to organise a good party 🥹🥳. Miss you everyday & love you 💕🕊️🤍🐆!
