In loving memory of Deborah Anne Porter who sadly passed away on 5th May 2024.

Deborah was the most selfless mother, to us, her 3 children. She gave all that she could within her grasp and expected nothing in return. She taught us how to give and how to be kind, and she will always remain in our hearts as the beautiful soul to guide us.

Mum was diagnosed with cancer in 2020, and was treated at the Celia Blakey unit of The William Harvey Hospital throughout. The wonderful Celia Blakey team supported her gracefully through the treatment and mum could not speak more highly of the team there.

As a thank you to the amazing staff at Celia Blakey, mum wishes any donations to be made to the unit that helped her through such a challenging time, in the hope of supporting others living with cancer.

Thank you,
The Porter Family

My cousin Deborah was always so kind and generous and fun! Although she was a few years older than me and my brother I remember she was always interested in US. For my mum, her Aunt, Deborah always kept in touch and us all updated on the family, and after Auntie Jean died (mums sister, Deborah and Jen’s mum) Deborah was ‘the glue’. Such a beautiful person. Xx

So many good times we had, holidays, outings, one or two wines, and always plenty of laughs. You will always be remembered as a wonderful friend, although I was supposed to go first, as I told you I'd leave you Colin. You'll never be forgotten Debs.XXX
