My first induction to my boyfriends family was a spontaneous invitation to an evening hosted at Gary & Stephs, while sisters grilled me on my girlfriend potential. Gary, with his happy character showed his sense humour showed through the conversation he made. Welcomed in like anyone else!
Having a mother who has had a stroke & heart attack 3yrs ago. I know the feeling of not knowing whether your loved one will pull through.
Garys stroke & passing, reminds me how different that could have been and to be thankful for every day I get with my mother.
My thoughts are with Steph & boys. You are strong and very luckily to have a great partner & present father.

Gary was a true gentleman, a man of upmost integrity and someone who was much respected and loved both inside and outside the workplace for his positive attitude and jovial spirit. It was an honour to get to know him in the time our lives crossed, not only as a great mentor but also as a friend. He is a loss to us all and is sorely missed...

My big brother, my playground protector, my inspiration to join the RN, my circuit partner, my council, my friend. Cannot believe you have gone so soon but you remain as big and joyous in my memories. Love you Gary. Xx
