In loving memory of James Hobson who sadly passed away on 30th April 2024, aged 88 years.

James was the greatest person I have ever known. In his younger years, he was a labourer and a fisherman back home in Nevis. He met our mum in the 70s then her 2 girls, he took me and my sister Bea as his own. James was a great husband dad granddad great granddad and friends to lots of people. He will be greatly missed. James loved to sing and dance all the time. He would shake anyone's hand and say hello and always had a smile.

He is preceded in death by his wife Maureen (MO) And granddaughter kara. James is survived by his daughters Samantha, Benita and husband along side his two daughter's Pamela and Rubena who originate from St. Kitts & Nevis where our father was born. Close friend Chia
Grandchildren nathan Sian, Keri, Sean, William, Gemma, Rachel and partner Scott. Chelsea and Jo and Ben and partner Megan. Great grandchildren krystal , Hollie, Harmony Lucy, Jaymee, Emma, Jensen, Johanna , Charlie, Sofia, Amelia, Jeremiah, Zeke and lots of cousins and many friends. Sadly missed by many. ❤️

Where do I start Pops? I want to say thank you for accepting me into your family all those years ago and for being the best Pops anybody could ever ask for! I'll forever cherish the dancing, singing, drinking brandy, playing cards, sitting at the view point watching the Holland boat coming in and countless other memories I made with you. Thank you for being the best Poppy to Harmony, Jensen, Sofia and Zeke. We all miss you and love you so very much. We look for yours and Nanny's star every night. Much love Pops, keep dancing up there and I'll toast a brandy to you.

When I read the many wonderful comments about my father - James Hobson, I had to smile. However, all that I can say is that " I hope that the one who holds my hand, was holding his hand".
Father, may your soul rest in eternal peace!

What can we say about this wonderful Man actually about this wonderful Couple .
We will miss Jimmy (James Ezekiel) so so much .
A man of integrity.of love for life and his family .
We have had the privilege of knowing both Jimmy and Maureen for more than 50 years
So many adventures with them. Jimmy was a loyal and passionate friend. And his love for life and laughter was infectious. When Jimmy was there you just had to smile because he lit up the party.

God bless you my dear friend, it's time to walk the streets of Glory holding your dearest Maureens Hand.

You made us laugh.
You made us weep.
Sadly it time to go to Sleep.
For those that remain. You will always be.
In our hearts eternally.

🙏🕊️🌹

Laurie & Ruth.
