HENDERSON JOANNE CATHERINE – Died 25TH April 2024. Late of Earlford Heights. Much loved daughter of Barbara and the late Raymond, beloved wife of Joe, devoted mother of Bethany and sister of Claire. A Funeral Service will be held in Newtownabbey Crematorium on Tuesday 7th May at 2pm. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to NI Chest, Heart & Stroke or Down Syndrome Association NI c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 11 Jennings Park, Newtownabbey, BT37 0NB. Will be sadly missed by her loving family circle. A smile for all a heart of gold, one of the best this world could hold, never selfish always kind these are the memories you leave behind. We shared so much together, laughter, joy and tears, now all I have are memories of all those happy years xx. To have you for my mother was cause enough for pride, no-one could be your equal, however much they tried. I lost a mum in a million, I loved her to the end, I lost two precious things that day, my mum and my best friend xx.

Thinking of Joe, Bethany and Family at this time. Joanne was my neighbour in Fairview many years ago. Such a friendly, positive person to be around. Joanne was a source of strength for me not that long ago when I was in hospital, sending texts and always encouraging me. Fond memories ❤️ xx

I first met & worked with Joanne many years ago in Ben Madigan nursing home.
She was a little ray of sunshine & loved by all the staff & patients.
I still have & wear a pair of earrings she made for me. Every time I wear them I think of Joanne. I am so sorry we lost touch.
I am thinking of Joe, Bethany & Joanne's family & friends at this heartbreaking time.
