In loving memory of Ann Kenna who passed away suddenly at home on 14th March 2024.
A state registered nurse for over 40 years Ann was the loving wife of Gerry who passed away in 2014. A wonderful mum to Andrew, Norah, Patrick and Mary Ann, mum-in-law of Andrew and Barbara, much loved nan of Paul, Georgia, Oliver and Joshua and of Rhiannon, Josie, Ashleigh and Elsa and great grandmother of Ava and also Frankie and Harley.
A thanksgiving service for Mum will be held at Ingatestone Elim Church on the 9th of May at 1pm followed by a family committal at Chelmsford Crematorium at 2pm. Everyone is welcome to celebrate Mum's life at The Rose and Crown, Great Waltham from 2.30pm onwards.
Family flowers only please but a donation in Mum's memory can be made to The Blossom Suite, Maternity Bereavement Service at Broomfield Hospital. We chose this charity as Mum trained as a midwife in the 1950's, because of her role as a A&E nurse for many years firstly at Chelmsford and Essex and then Broomfield hospitals and also in memory of her granddaughter Rosie.

What a lovely way to remember Anne. I think it’s so kind to think of other people’s sorrow, at a time when you must be feeling so sad.
