I love and miss you so much dad, I wasn’t ready for you to leave me as we still had so much to do together but I’ll take comfort in knowing you are no longer suffering and no doubt having a good old party up there. Thank you for being you and for all the LOLs. I’ll continue to buy you the monkey cards and sing our song to you whenever I hear it. Make sure you save a good spot for me Davey Boy, my top dad, top string. You will forever be in my thoughts and I’ll treasure our memories forever xx

Mem, I first met you as a know it all 11yr old (me not you), down at the Dock Labour Board ground in Sidcup. You was dating the daughter of a friend of my fathers. Then you went on to have a great career with the Millwall. We then met again when I was managing the Croydon Football Club where you did a stint as player manager. What sticks out for me is the passion for football you had at all levels that I will never forget, that and you always thought I was a smart arse. RIP you Lion.
