Farewell to a lovely brother. Xx

I knew David through our daughters and was always welcomed at their homes in Wallington, Cornwall and in Canada where we had a marvellous holiday. David was generous,kind and enerjetic, always busy with creative projects but still found time to drive us around beautiful and interesting places near Grand Forks. Sheila and he even drove us to Calgary to catch our plane..a long journey! It was a memorable time. He kept in touch by skype until recently. He was a positive force in my life and will be missed. Thankyou David and Rest in Peace (I know you will).

The void now left from the strongest man i had the pleasure of calling my father in law is a vacuum that will only be filled with the memories of a true man who filled the space i had for a father. We crossed swords disagreed laughed cried and shared every feeling about different things over the many years we shared together. David
allowed me to marry and care for his most precious only
daughter this i could never thank David and Sheila enough
for. The values,respect and
honesty i learnt from this magnificent man was in his
guidance he helped me install in my children making me a better person and Grandchildren he was proud of. I am going to miss you dearly but carry on making you proud and use the knowledge you shared with me to face any challenge ahead with my head held high knowing you gave me the privilege of how to stride through any situation with dignity and strength. I will always miss you but always smile when you come into my thoughts. I love and thank you 😘

David was a very important part of my life growing up and I was privileged to spend time with him and Sheila in Wallington, Cornwall & Canada. I remember telling him that I was really scared of him as a teenager which he thought was hilarious. He was really kind to me and he will be much missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him.

With many fond memories of our very special Uncle. Love Chris, Pam and Judy and their families.

Dave was a former colleague and friend of whom I have so many happy memories, he was highly professional and had a wonderful personality, I was saddened to hear of his passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
