Mike was a good MD ,always welcoming, unbiased , who made the effort to come round and see what was going on and listened.

Hello. We have now donated the total amount from the donations box at Michael’s service. We have divided it between the two chosen charities, alongside the donations generously made online. Thank you to everyone for your kindness, for joining us back in April to celebrate Michael’s life, and for offering such wonderful support before, during and after the day itself. We are extremely thankful for and touched by the outpouring of love for our amazing and much missed husband, father and grandfather - Susan, Rebekah and Pete, Sam, Archie and Raphael XX

Our condolences to the family at this sad news. I haven’t seen Michael for many years but still fondly remember the good times we had in 5th and 6th form at Ermysted’s, particularly the summer of 1972 where we spent several weeks living at his house. I remember a young man of both practical generosity and a generosity of spirit.

Mike - a colleague, a friend and one and only! I will always remember you and the good times we had. RIP
