Hello Dad
I have just finished putting together the order of service for your funeral. Doing this has been a wonderful journey through sixty plus years we have shared. I shall never forget anything about you as the memories I have could fill many more years than I can reasonably expect to be here. What wonderful parents you and Mum were and you would be very proud by how close losing both of you has brought your four children. You have left a wonderful legacy in your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Looking back, I admire the lives you led together and what full and satisfying lives they were. I hope you are now together again and rejoice that you were only apart an instant in the passage of time.
Philip will miss your outings together and all the little chats putting the world to rights.

Hello Daddy, it's been 9 days since you left us. I have thought of you everyday and I miss you very much. You are with mum now and I know you are at peace at last and happy to be reunited. Every time I see a rainbow I will pause a while and think of you both and of how you loved us all so much, as we love you. Thank you for being my parents.
