Absolutely gutted, only found out the other day :( Genuine very good guy who was a very good friend to me. Such a shame he was taken too early, always the good ones! Sending lots of love to his friends & family. Thank you Alex for being a good friend and a genuine soul. xx

Every morning I walk into the office, I still look to my left and expecting to see Alex. We had a pending catch up...
Hey Alex, I have no words to express my feelings when I heard that you had passed. I thought about your family and could not begin to imagine what they were going thru at that moment, I thought about our catch up which would never be, I thought about the FCPC course we did together and your power point presentation, I remembered your first comment to me when we had our first face to face, it's endless
Now you are not in pain again or worried about the next BA workshop and stakeholders. I pray for your family and hope you are finally at peace my friend.

I worked with Alex at E.ON. I knew him fairly well. I always thought a lot of him professionally and personally. He was a good egg and I remember he was fairly good at squash. I'm shocked and sorry to hear of his passing, especially at such a young age. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Alex was in every sense of the word, a true gentleman. I had the privilege of working with him for several years at E.ON and in this time, came to know him very well. Both Janet and myself extend our heartfelt sympathies to all Alex’s family. We are so sorry we are unable to attend Alex’s funeral on Thursday. Rest in peace dear friend. It was such a privilege to know and work with you.

I will remember Shakeaways in Bournemouth and gnocchi potato stuff (for the first time ever) in Nottingham. Nice coat shopping in Zara. You coming down for beach days if we were lucky. Christmas’s when you stayed… you arriving with huge Sainsburys food bags full of ‘Taste the Difference’ goodies and the ginormous Hotel Chocolat sharing boxes. Staying in your house and us leaving at 5am so you could go to the gym before work and I could drive to York to work for the day, instead of having to stay in a hotel. You changing to your ‘driving shoes’ if you’d been anywhere muddy. Walks in Houghton with Grandad at Easter when we were young. Your big smile. The odd lecture about how to do squats correctly. The obligatory free advanced driving advice.
Elsie will remember your dancing farting car. And will keep using her cup you got her with Lia.
I will miss you big cousin. Oh crap, I’m the biggest now xxx
