In loving memory of Susan Joy Hewitt who sadly passed away on 15th November 2015.

Sue was a wonderful lady, who not only brought three wonderful children of her own into the world but many other during her time as a midwife.

She was one of life's truly reliable and honest people, she always put others first and it was a pleasure and a gift to have been her husband.

She was and remains my love, my soul mate and my very best friend.

All my love, forever angel Chris XXXXXX

I had the pleasure of knowing Sue through work at the Glenbrook Management Centre. I'm so happy to be part of the long line of people who were lucky enough to know Sue. Her sense of humour and sunny disposition made a stressful environment much more amusing ;-)
Sue was a constant comfort during a very difficult time in my life. She was caring and compassionate, supportive and above all gave honest answers with great sensitivity.
I'm not a religious person but I can't help but hope Sue has moved on to bigger and better things, as much as this hurts the ones she has left behind. Someone like Sue has much more to give.
Miss you lots, Caroline XXXXX

You have certain friends you call on for advice, others to laugh, others 'to put the world to rights' and others you are just happy to sit and be your complete self with. Sue, to me, was all those things and more.

Sue was one of the most kind, selfless, caring, witty, genuine, loyal people and I'm very lucky to have called her one of my dearest friends. I will cherish all the wonderful times that we shared together.
She will forever have a special place in my heart. Miss and love you lots 'my lovely'.
Love to Chris, the boys and the rest of the family xxx

Sue, we met when we were about 5 years old and quickly became best friends. Our friendship continued throughout our school years and into adulthood. We became mum's within a couple of months of each other. We always supported each other and were only a phone call away. I can't believe you're now not just a phone call away I will miss our chats very much.
You were an amazing, kind, loyal friend not just to me but to Vinny, Aaron, Luke and the rest of the family and to everyone who came into contact with you, You were loved by so many people and I am so lucky to have been part of your life for so many years. I will miss you so much,
I'll remember and love you always . Our thoughts are with you Chris, James, Richard and George.
Rest in peace my dearest friend, sending you big hugs (((xxx)))

Sue always listened and gave me advice, even if that advice was to crack open a bottle of red :-) I am going to miss Sue sooooo much but will forever cherish our friendship. Sue was such support to me during my long nights after my fiancé died suddenly. We would chat on line into the small hours of the morning. She was so caring and undersanding and lifted my spirit even though she was nearing the end of her life. Never once would she accept any talk of herself. She was so unselfish she was an inspiration and got me through some dark moments. I will be forever grateful for her heartfelt words of encouragement. Such a brave sweet person. We had many laughs at work sharing private jokes during our time together at Glenbrook Management Centre. Happy memories. RIP sweet Sue you were one of the best. Lots of love to Chris and the children xxxxxx
