Janet Elsie May Smart (September 1940 – March 2024)
It is with great sadness and love that Wayne & Richard share the news of the passing of their devoted Mum.
Janet sadly lost a brave and courageous battle with cancer on Friday 22nd March 2024 at the Prospect Hospice, aged 83.
Janet will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by her sons, Wayne & Richard. Daughter-in-laws, Pam & Samantha. Grandchildren, Stacey, Dean, Liam, Ryan & Scott and her Great Grandchildren, Chase, Emily, Rohan and Ella… A very loved sister, aunt and friend.
Janet’s love for her family, her kindness, infectious personality her colourful character will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
THERE ARE SPECIAL PEOPLE IN OUR LIVES THAT NEVER LEAVE US EVEN AFTER THEY HAVE GONE
Funeral Service for family and close friends will be held at West Wiltshire Crematorium, Semington on the 12th April at 2.45pm.
Followed by a private celebration of Janet’s life at Pewsey Rugby Club.
Please wear something bright, smart and cheerful.

RIP Janet. Will miss having a natter as you passed our home on your trips between your house and Wayne’s. Have many fond memories of Saturday evenings in the Crown with the Smart family. Happy days.

Janet was a lovely lady. She cared for my husband Tim for a while and became a friend. She was always cheerful and I will miss our iinfrequent chats.
I am so sorry not to be with you on Friday but I will be thinking of you all.
