Gerald was 10 years older than me - I would have seen Gerald, Isobel & Matthew numerous times - circa 1970-75 - back then the big people didn’t really communicate with the wee people - however, Gerald was different - always considerate, warm, friendly and made you laugh - effectively Gerald was my first adult hero and I thought I’d like to be like Gerald when I grow up - a hard act to follow…

It’s also very appropriate to be writing this message on Good Friday - seems apt.

Condolences to Theresa and Family and Isobel - Gerald left lots of fantastic memories I’m sure with you all and they’re with you forever.

Rest In Heaven Gerald & God Bless You All 💚🙏.
