In loving memory of Val Diamond who sadly passed away on 14th March 2024.
Val lived her life to the full and was always there to lend a hand or give an ear.
She was a devoted teacher throughout her career and loved being part of a child's story.
She moved to Southwell from Washington in the 80's with Ian and Catherine. When her first grandchild was born she moved to Edwinstowe so she was 'on hand'.
Val adored travel and this is shown by the sheer amount of the world she had experienced.
The most common reflection of Val from those who knew and loved her 'what a lovely lady'!

So thankful to have known you, Val; I loved our days together at Lowes Wong. You were an inspiration to everyone, children and staff alike. Miss you.
