Great memories Ted. Madeleine and I are glad to have shared a small part of your very full life. We always enjoyed our family lunches and we could always rely on you to make us laugh.

In loving memory of Ted Brown who sadly passed away on 21st March 2024. Ted was born on the 3rd November 1935 to Eunice Rose and George Alfred Brown, in Gravesend Kent .
Ted joined HMS Worcester as a young cadet at 14 where he was described as " a refined boy with very high principals, one of the best that have come our way". Ted sailed the world many times, including 17 times to Australia.
At the age of 19 Ted enlisted into the Army and joined the 6 Royal Tank Regiment completing active service in Egypt in November 1956. His certificate of service described him as "Thoroughly honest and a totally trust worthy solider"
On leaving the Army Ted married his beloved wife Anne on the 17th March 1961 going to having three children Mark, Stephen and Robert.
After completing his Army service Ted started a career in the Civil Service. Before finding his true vocation as a leisure centre manager. Over his career in the leisure industry Ted managed 3 sports and leisure centres, 2 of which were from new build.
Ted had a great life filled with fun and love. Always the life and sole of the party he will be sorely missed by all those whose lives he touched.
