many memories of Eric "Billy" over the years - I can still see all the beautiful baskets and tunnels of flowers, the best Christmas Trees too - always had a bit of banter and I never really knew when he was serious or not - RIP Billy

Favourite story my Grandad told me,

Him and a friend were out selling rabbit skins on Petersfield square. “The skin man” as he said to me came down the high street on horse and cart and purchased all the skins off them.

“The skin man” then went into the bank, my grandad then went and stole the rabbit skins back and then re sold them to him when he came out the bank.

One of many stories you wouldn’t get away with today that came from him. He should have been in prison haha!

Unbelievable man, even more so his character.

One of the kindest people I've ever worked with. Eric was always happy, a laugh to be around and pleasure to know.
