I'm so sorry that I couldn't make the funeral. I was thinking about you Ken the whole day though. You were actually a really big part of my teeneage years. Not only were you the best manager a girl's football team could ask for but you were one of the nicest, funniest, most supportive people I have ever met. Many a time you took me home in your taxi after a night out, making sure I got home ok and never taking more than a fiver. You were an exceptional human being and were even there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I'll never forget you, Ken. Sleep well 💙💙💙

It takes somebody incredibly special to take on the role of the most magical man, and how lucky we were it was you. Uncle Ken it's now time for you to fly through the sky and shine brighter than you ever have. Thank you will never be enough xxx

Elizabeth with Father Christmas(Ken).Thank you for the memory

Until we sing and dance together again - love you Kenny xx

Dear Ken, not just a brother-in-law, but a dear friend. Thanks for the great laughs on holidays, parties, Christmas and family get togethers. You were my excellent tea making buddy at Broadstairs - now the pressure is on! No more comebacks for the fruity boys, but I’m sure we’ll be playing music together again one day. I will miss you until we meet again and by the way, I’m sure it’s your round next!

Brothers together forever, I'll miss you Ken, give dad and mum a hug from me and the boys xx

Since the age of 11 you have been a big presence in my life and now I have to say goodbye to a brother in law that has always been there for me & Phil. The M & D disco’s in our courting years, celebrating our decades birthdays together , the Christmas’s, the holidays, the support through Dads illness, the support raising our children especially when Phil was unemployed…I could go on forever but the laughs! Oh the laughs you gave us! is there anything more precious? Thank you Ken from the bottom of my broken heart 💔 . We promise to look after Linda and your girls . I will miss you …until we meet again in glory 😘❤️🩹

Miss you so much Fatboy, thanks for being the best dad I could ever wish for! Nothing was ever too much for you to do for me ,whether it was making me a cuppa or driving me miles to play football!!!!! I would like one more chance to thank you in person xxx
