I've just found out today.

I'm in shock mate. We worked at Severn Trent Water together and I'm not just saying this because it's your obituary. But you were the coolest guy there, bursting with charisma, swaggy, personable, Charming; but down to earth at the same time. I wanted to be like you. You were so popular and well respected by everyone and no one had a bad word to say about you. God rest your soul Pete. My condolences to your family, your close friends and all those that have been affected by your death.

You are always on my mind Peter, I think about you all the time and wonder what you’d be doing now at this moment, I went to send you a song I’d found the other day - I will never get over losing you my beloved brother.

Pete, I only just heard the news. I haven't seen you for 20 years but you were such an amazing, kind, charismatic person and a really important part of why working at Severn Trent was such fun. Pete I’ve literally just heard today that you’ve passed on, we’ve literally known each other from babies 45 years is a long my mate. You hasn’t changed a bit still had that cheeky twinkle in ya eye!! You’re going to be missed by a lot of people sending love you you above and to those down here xx

Pete can't believe you've gone. Although we didn't see you often you were part of the family for many years. You leave a family to be proud of. Rest in peace xxx

We'd not seen you for ages, Pete, but there was the couple of years in London when it felt like we saw you and Rachel all the time. You were always great company and fun to be around, seeing the humour in everything. It seems from these messages that others felt the same and that you touched so many people's lives. Being remembered so fondly will hopefully bring some comfort to all your family and friends at such a sad time. James and Helen x

Pete didn’t no you all that well fella but we did play golf together a good few times and you were a great laugh and a top lad willies day won’t be the same without you on the team mate

Big brother... the hardest words to write on this toughest day, but you gave me strength. The trajectory of my life is to your credit, you roughed up my smooth edges, showed me the culture, taught me to dress with intent, brought up this Ruddington dork and made a Nottingham man of me. Thank you for all the lessons, the love, the laughs, and the scraps. I'll carry you with me always. Live forever in legend. Love you.

Although I’m not a close friend… the times I spent with you Donal and Scully I’ll never forget. You were a Dude with a Great Sense of humor who would leave me in tears of laughter… A genuine good guy…RIP Pete
