STERLING WILLIAM (BILLY) Died 12th March 2024. Late of Disraeli Close. Much loved father of Cheryl, William and Jonathan, father in law of Paul and devoted grandfather of Sophie, Kurtis, Harley, Libby, Rocco and Cole and great grandfather of Leo and Logan. Funeral service to be held in Welcome Evangelical Church on Wednesday 20th March at 9.45am and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 11.20am. Everyone is welcome to join the family afterwards in Mountainview Social Club, Olive Street for refreshments from 1pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to NI CHS c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 117-121 Shankill Road, Belfast, BT13 1FD. Will be sadly missed by his loving family circle. Tired and weary you made no fuss, you tried so hard to stay with us. God closed your eyes and gave you rest, for he alone knows what’s best.
Your were a true gentleman Uncle Billy. You always made us laugh with all your antics and jokes. No more suffering now, your at rest and reunited with your loved ones. I'm so glad I had the chance to get to know you Billy and get to know the wonderful man you were. You put up one hell of a fight and you done it with humour and dignity. Please give Willie, Cheryl, Jonny and the extended family the strength to get through the days ahead.
