I so appreciated your help and advice at the allotment and your friendly conversations and humour. I will miss you Richard. You always spoke so fondly of your whole family and even though i didnt know them i could tell how special they all were to you. Thank you and kind wishes to Ann especially at this time. In loving memory of Richard Charles Waller who sadly passed away on 2nd March 2024.
Many of you have known Richard (dad) for a great number of years through various different walks of life. Either from his time before school, at school, in his interesting and varied work life, his passion for Saints football club, or his beloved allotment. But wherever you met him, I’m sure he touched your heart. He was a warm, open and loving person who cherished his friends and family as much as they him. He was strong and brave and an inspiration and teacher to all who had the pleasure of meeting him. However, his final challenge with cancer that he was battling so very bravely, ended after a sudden decline in health. He was brave and stoic the entire time and made us laugh until his dying day. Thank you for all of your support from the phone calls, visits, cards, flowers, and messages. We all appreciated every single one, and each one meant the world to him. So, thank you to everyone who made dads life so very special. Love always Ann, James, Colleen, Nathan & Naomi .
There will be a celebration of Richard's life at St Marry Football Stadium, to which everyone is welcome to attend.
