Caroline Whittington (6 Jul 1941 - 17 Feb 2024)

In loving memory of Caroline Whittington who sadly passed away on 17th February 2024. Born in India on 6 July 1941, moved to Malaya and Singapore. Arrived in England in 1954. She met her husband Dick in 1958, while working for HM Customs and Excise. They married in 1964 and were later blessed with 2 daughters Collette and Rebecca. They in turn presented her with three granddaughters, Jen, Abbie, and Phoebe, and two grandsons, William and Alex. Sadly, Rebecca passed away in 2009 ,leaving her husband Richard to raise his four children alone but with much help from Caroline. After a long illness culminating in a fall that broke her hip, Caroline passed away in Southend Hospital on 17 February 2024. May she rest in peace.
