You welcomed me into your family 7 years ago and now I have the privilege of calling you my father in law. I am really going to miss our chats and how you never missed a single detail out, how every time I saw you you asked how long it is until the next school holiday (only 1 week by the way) and my weekly Netflix recommendations.
The girls are constantly saying how much they miss you which breaks my heart everytime! Id give anything for them to get just one more cuddle with you.
You raised an amazing family and I'm so proud to be apart of it! Sleep tight xx

Thank you for being my teacher, for doing my homework and being my bedtime story reader when I was little ( even if you fell asleep on the landing!). Thank you for being my car maintenance man, my taxi, my role model, my supporter, my critic, but most importantly thank you for just being my Dad. I don’t even know how to process that you’re not here any more, that I’m not going to hear your voice or your laugh again, or hear you tell a joke (that actually a lot of the time only you thought was funny), that I’m not going to hear you tell a story in the longest most detailed way possible, or hear you shout at the tv when the football (or any sport for that matter) or quiz show is on calling everyone all the names under the sun! You were loved and respected by so many people Dad and every one of them has a story to tell about you from across the years and you will live on that way in all of us who loved you. I promise you we’re looking after Mum and each other and will continue to do so just like you looked after all of us. Thank you for everything Dad, for always being there and I will do everything I can to make you proud. I miss you every day and I should have told you and shown more than I did but I love you so much! Sleep well now Dad. I’ll love you always and carry you in my heart forever ❤️

So sorry to hear the sad news , I have worked with semi, on and off , for around 35 years. Always brought a smile to
my face with a daft story or 2 and a welcoming “alright youth”

The legend that is my dad, where do I start. Very hard to believe but I have looked up to you my whole life. You have been there and supported me through all my good and bad times and have never judged me. You used to be up for hours some nights when I had my shin splints rubbing my legs better. You were my biggest supporter throughout my teenage football days and used to take me to all the games on a sat and Sun and never complained. You tried to talk me out of following you into the building game but so glad I didn't listen to you as then I wouldn't of got to spend every day with you for 20 years. You have been the best dad and grandad to Thomas, Maddison, Darcie and Elodie that we could wish for and we will make sure that they always remember you. I keep going to ring you and ask your advice on how best to do something at work. You wasn't only my dad but my best friend. I will do my best to be there for mum and the girls though I will never do as good as of job as you did. I have had the most amazing role model not just in life and work but as a dad and I hope I do you proud. Love you with all my heart, something I never told you enough ❤️
