Robert Paterson (27 Oct 1956 - 18 Nov 2015)

My best pal , what a man , you kindness and honesty to me and my family will never be forgotten.

Sadly lost my brother on 18th November I cannot believe he's gone it would have been his 60th birthday next year and my Daughter and i where going to arrange a surprise party for him.All his family and friends from Shevlens pub where he went for couple of pints every night when he finished his shift taxing he would leave at 2pm in his taxi be home for 10pm in shevlens for 10 past 10.Robert will be sadly missed by all his family and friends also our mother who is heart broken but Robert is with his Dad and Son Ross now . RIP Robert until we meet again.Your Sis Roseann ??xxx

My uncle Robert was the best uncle anyone could ask for, the banter was top class, he was always upto something. Getting to know Robert over the last 5 years when we became neighbours was just the start of the laughs. Between leaving notes and cream eggs at his door to shovelling snow in the street so he could get his wee taxi out. Turning up at shevlanes with a cupcake, ha the look on his face was priceless. The list goes on. Such a down to earth man, funny and trustworthy. So grateful to have gd memories with him. So say hello to papa and Ross. No doubt yous will be sitting with a pint right now laughin at all us picking up the pieces. Until we meet again - rest in peace x

Robert was a great friend who I trusted and respected .weve had some laughs over the years in shevlanes .when auld bobby his dad was still alive theywere a double act so funny ,we used to play pranks on them which usually backfired on us .. Over the years I've went drinking and concerts ete but didn't think this year I would be going to hospital appointments with Robert ,who took it all in his stride I'm very proud to have known robert and will miss him hope you and the auld yin are having the last laugh love Yvonne xxxxx
