In loving memory of Kathleen Ellis, who we said goodbye to on the 8th of February 2024.

Kath was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandma and Sister. She loved people, her job as a nursery nurse and deputy manager of a nursery encapsulated this alongside, Brownie leader (Fluffy Owl) , Sunday School leader, Little People's services leader to mention a just few.

How could we ever capture your spirit in just a few lines of text?...You were always there for us, your family. A constant supporter and encourager of all those you encountered. You hated to see injustice, discrimination and unfairness, being fearlessly protective of those who society would describe as the 'underdog'.

We will miss your strength, determination (stubbornness some would say), sometimes moody, dare we say it the sulky and fiery side of your nature. Most of all, we will miss your compassion, your love, humour and bouts of uncontrolled joy and laughter! You were beyond doubt a force of nature and our lives will be emptier without you.

You will always be with us, and continue to fill our hearts with laughter, joy and gratefulness for everything you have done and the memories you have given us. These along with the example you set, live on through your children and grandchildren, alongside all those lives you have touched.

There will also be times of sadness that you are not physically here with us, leaving a space that could never be filled by anything or replaced by anyone. Heaven will be a much more lively, interesting, entertaining and joyous place with you in it.

Till the next time we meet.
