In loving memory of Chris Croft 1956- 2024

Please join us to celebrate Chris's life on Thursday, March 28th, at 2:00 pm at Wealden Crematorium, followed by a reception at The George and Dragon in Lamberhurst.

In honour of Chris's terrible dress sense, please come wearing what you are most comfortable in. No black or navy, only bright colours. If you have Crocs, sandals, or flip-flops, wear them to pay tribute to his colourful personality.

We have asked for donations in Chris' memory to Ronald McDonald House Charities - who aim to provide accommodation for families whose children are in hospital, so they are able have their families close by, and so the families can be supported. Chris' own family have been supported by the charity so it is a cause that was very close to his heart.

We've also created a link where you can share your memories and photos of Chris, especially from his early kiting days and younger years - so we can put together photo tributes for the memorial. https://1drv.ms/f/s!AgTa3ygV6dulgZla9VQ9htiGdNBFZg?e=B22d0N

Please feel free to upload anything you'd like to share.

We'd also love to hear your favourite terrible Chris joke, along with your special memories of him on the day.

To our friend with the biggest heart with love and thanks for everything you did for us and for Mark Cross.

Chris was a huge character and a very keen compeditor. This is how I will always remember him. I think this picture is Chris picking up the prize for winning a 4 hour enduro at Pembrey. It was sponsored by Mark Henness (camera right). RIP Chris

Terrible joke of Chris’s, we were out having dinner at one of the kite festivals and a pea fell off his plate. He said it’s an escapee. He then flicked a few off his plate and said, it’s a mass breakout. Worst joke ever, I still use it, glad to have had you as a friend.
