Great nana, you will be very missed. I have so many great memories and am very sad you have passed. I loved popping in to yours for a cup of tea on the way home from shopping in Nottingham with mum and squeezing through your little door. You would stand outside and wave until we got to the end of the street. I loved seeing the photos of all the family in your hallway. As a kid, I loved your garden and seeing tomatoes in your greenhouse. You featured in my junior school newspaper, as I interviewed you about WW2. I'll have to have a look in my memory box and find it. I remember going round to yours around Christmas time and you put on a huge buffet, I especially remember the bread sticks. I was terrified of your very steep road and used to scream going down it as a kid.

I tell people I have a great nana and they are always shocked, and even more shocked when I say you are a great great nana!! When you met Ally and he sat on your knee that was such a lovely memory for me and I'll treasure that time and photo. I'm very sad you didn't get chance to meet Eva but I'm glad you saw lots of photos of her and she would of loved a cuddle.

Lots of love and we will all miss you xxx

Nana, as a young child I loved sorting through your button box, loved wearing your hair nets when Nicola and I stayed over, and your aprons, well, the blue and white checked one was my favourite . Loved wearing it and have very fond memories. Yorkshire puddings and jam and the biscuit box which came out as soon as we came through the door will always remind me of you Nana, not forgetting your rock cakes. As I grew older and became a mum myself, you were always there for me, and you were an amazing Great Nana. Remember lovely days out at Rufford park , playing football with the kids and your shoe flying off, trips to the garden centre, and taking you shopping and the many times you came to Tumble tots with me looking after my little ones. Shopping always made me laugh as the tomatoes were never soft enough and you would be almost head first in the freezer at Iceland looking for the perfect packet of chicken, whilst I was holding the 10 packets you didn’t want. So lovely memories of many Christmas dinners with you as well, you definitely loved a Christmas dinner and always said yes to seconds to all our surprise. More years passed and you became a Great Great Nana to Ally and Evelyn x So many lovely memories of such a lovely lady and wonderful Nana. What an amazing life you’ve had and we will all miss you x Rest in peace now. Lots of love Karen xx

Audrey was our neighbour and friend for over 40 years. She was fiercely independent, thoughtful, kind and generous. She loved her garden and having a chat over the hedge in the summer. She will be missed by our family, and remembered fondly. Rest in peace Audrey. From Lyn, Raj, Kieran and Jennifer 🙏
