In loving memory of Julia Salmon
who sadly passed away on Saturday 3rd February 2024, aged 73 years.
She will be deeply missed by her loving family, husband Keith and children Rachel (with Christof) and Paul (with Lucy, Ashton & Ronnie) and many friends.
Julia’s funeral will take place on Monday 11th March at 1pm at Saint Peter’s Church Bredhurst, Hurstwood Road, Bredhurst, Gillingham. ME7 3JZ
Please note that there is restricted parking, so if possible, it would make sense to join others and drive together.
We ask you kindly to be seated before the close family arrive shortly before 1pm.
For the burial you are very welcome to bring flowers (please take off any plastic packaging first, as no plastic is allowed in the graveyard!), or make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society (there will be a donation box in the church), or even both.
This might now be a very strange request, but Julia’s favourite chocolate was Maltesers, so what we would love, is if you could bring some with you and throw them in at the burial so she can bathe in them before she leaves us to join the angels.😇 She would absolutely love that!
The wake will take place at Gillingham Golf Club, Woodlands Road, Gillingham. ME7 2AP from about 2.15/2.30pm. Please join us there for tea, coffee, drinks and something to eat whilst we remember together this lovely lady.
We will have a condolence book on the Memory Table. Please feel free to bring any photos of yourselves with Julia to stick in next to your message!
Donations in memory of Julia to the 'Alzheimer's Society' may be made via this online tribute page, or also in the church on the day of the funeral.
Please help us by clicking the buttons on this page to let us know if you would like to attend the funeral and/or attend the wake. This would help for our catering arrangements. Thank you very much!
Keith, Rachel and Paul
