In loving memory of David 'Icky' Irving who sadly passed away on 5th November 2015. Born in Liverpool, David was the youngest child of Thomas and Teresa and brother to Peter, Susan and Tom. At the age of 16 he left home and joined A college of the RAMC of the British Army. At 18 he started his regular service and proudly served for 22 years, travelling the world and making lifelong friends with his brothers and sisters in arms. Adored husband to Liz and devoted Dad to Christopher, Thomas and Rebecca, he will be very sadly missed by all who knew him.

Icky, you were a good friend, unfortunately I never got to catch up with you after 87. But I have some fantastic memories of Catterick at 24 Fld, and some probably best forgotten. You were always a star. I look forward to catching up with you in the future.
RIP

Mac

Sick note, when we met in deepest darkest Hohne you were a young, hilarious daft bugger. Twenty odd years later we remained buddies and I'm delighted to say you that although we got old, you remained a, hilarious daft bugger. One of a group of my closest pals in Germany, I am proud to have served with you and privileged to have watched you marry the woman of your dreams. It's been a pleasure my old friend X
