In loving memory of Leslie Robson who sadly passed away on 22nd January 2024.
Les was born in Hull in 1930 and after a somewhat unsettled start he moved, via the RAF, to Nottingham where he met, and married Mabel. Education, three sons, and a career in teaching followed. Alongside all of this a love of the outdoors, singing, local history, painting and pottery developed.
He lived life to the full.

A wonderful man who was always willing to share his knowledge gained throughout a very full life. His illustrated talks will remain with me as a memory of Les and his infectious humour.
