In loving memory of our beautiful Gemma Frances Hills who sadly passed away on 27th January 2024.
Slight in figure but huge in presence. Gem was unbelievably kind, fiercely loyal to her friends & family and genuinely cared about people. She loved to laugh with them but would always be the first to offer a shoulder or an ear. The door was always open and there was always tea, or something stronger, for anyone who needed it. Always selfless and put everyone before herself.
She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed by so many people.
We welcome anyone who knew Gem and wants to pay their respects at the funeral service to please do so.
We have also requested that instead of floral donations would you please be kind enough to donate to GOSH, a hospital that Gem spent a lot of her time as a child and remained close to her heart.

Gemma was a lovely person I had the chance to work with at ECC for a number of years. Intelligent and always so kind, she was accommodating of our mad requests and would always help when she could. I was so very sorry to hear of her recent passing and she will be missed by all who knew her. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

I’ve uploaded some photos of some great memories with Gemma. Although I’d not seen her in years, having gone to school with Gemma, and spending nights down at the Kursaal with her and Jennie after pre-drinking as we were under 18! 🫢, and then years later working with her at the bank, her passing has really saddened me and come as a shock.
As Tanya said in her message, the most heartwarming thing was being there to witness Gemma and Steve fall in love. ❤️ Their friendship was so wholesome, full of laughs and joy, it was only ever going to go that way. My heart breaks for Steve, Gemma’s family, Jennie and Shaneen, her other friends, and all who were blessed to meet and know Gemma.
She had an infectious smile, a brilliant laugh, and was a beautiful lady inside and out. 🩷
The world has lost a true Gem 💎 xx
