Thinking of you all on this difficult day, sending lots of virtual hugs and kisses. John AKA pickle, was funny, kind and incredibly tanned 😂. We will all miss you so much, I hope you and Linda are reunited and watching over Jo, Lou and the grandkids. Lots of love Gem and family xxx

An uncle who filled the room with fun and joy. So many memories of aching with laughter; safe in the knowledge you were in on the joke. I love you and I will miss you.

  • Can you believe these would have been taken nearly 18 years ago Lou! Happy times. I’m pleased you didn’t mind me sharing them! Missing him already at football! Love to you all! x

Going to miss you and your cheeky smile John! So sad that all our boys are missing out on their Grandads watching them play football! The sport both you and my Dad loved so much! Rest peacefully with your beloved Linda now. All our love, Louise, Tom, Liam, Olly & Wendy ♥️🩶

I will always remember John in our very successful five-a-side team along with John Hopkins, Chris Hughes, Peter Hills and myself in the 1970's Red Triangle League. Met up with John at the Chatham Football Ground in the recent years, I will sadly miss our met ups, John always enjoyed reminiscing our old times.
