I don’t know where to start with my relationship with Ian as it was so subtle. We used to chat in the Bush at first. Over the years we got closer and closer. Then we met in the Joiners and other pubs. When he moved to Crete we went there and had a great time. He seemed really happy there. Years passed and I was shocked to hear the bad news. I’ve played U2 tonight in his memory and loved it.

Ian, this is a very sad time for your family and friends. I remember the days of The Vivs and The Bush very well, and The Vivs is a fitting place to think of you and say goodbye xx

I found Ian Edward a very calm and generous mate. We have counted meetings in Norma's Garden during events like kings Crowning, birthday and others. Ian loved to do BBQS with his kind of patience cooking and chilling. I (decently) asked Ian sometimes to share a siggret of his pack and wanted him to talk more. I am missing a picture with his generous personality for my memories with him. I believe almighty bless his soul eternal peace in heaven.
