In loving memory of Diana Browne who sadly passed away on 16th January 2024

The Donkey Sanctuary The Donkey Sanctuary wrote

Diana's help and support had been greatly appreciated and the donkeys have lost a good friend too.
We would like to convey our thanks to everyone for donating in memory of Diana to aid us in our work at The Donkey Sanctuary. We are very grateful to everyone for remembering Diana in this way. We care for over 6,600 donkeys on a daily basis on Sanctuary farms in the UK, Ireland and Europe and this will also enable us to give comfort and medical aid to others less fortunate through our international projects and partners. Our thoughts are with you all.

To my dear friend Diane. I know how you loved the Donkey Sanctuary. I remember Jer & Angie taking us there for the day - it was lovely. To say I'm sorry you have left this life, is an understatement! You and I have become good friends and I will miss you more than I can say! Much love to you my dear Diane - Till we are reunited. XXXXX.

My mother and myself have known you for at least 60 years, just yesterday my mother said that you were the first neighbour to speak to her when my parents and I first moved into Ridgemead. Ended up having a great friend in Jer. You will and are being missed. Sleep well.

Rest in eternal peace Diane! I’ll always remember when I used to play in your garden as a child, the dinner dates you took me india and barb on. We will remember your love of animals, Hartley the rabbit and Leema the dog who used relentlessly chase after me. That’s just to name a few. Your fondness of little Luca who you loved to watch play and how you always had mackies ice cream in the freezer. Thank you for being a constant in my life, you will be missed. Xx
