I have so many memories going through my mind lately, I just couldn't decide what to share... Some of my favourites were Ashley's christening when you were so proud to be her Godfather, James's christening you said you'd be his 2nd godfather even though you weren't feeling so good. The holiday at Butlins with us was fun, we still remember you joining in with the kids and the street dances on campus, I caught a sneaky pic of that, 🤫. Also how pleased John & I were that you acted as a witness at our wedding, and was John's companion on our vows renewal. We have so many more days & memories we'll always treasure. Love you always uncle Robert xxx

I have a million memories, of us all in Buchlyvie Path in the 70s, you had such a dry Witt, half the time I was too thick to get it, never knew if you were serious or not, you never were serious, and only when your face lit up, did I realise you were joking.
You never had your sorrows to seek Robert, but plowed on with whatever life dealt you .
A diamond of a heart ! R I P Robert 💔❣️💔

One of the greatest men that ever was, you cracked me up, your tongue could cut us to the bone, your one liners and dry sense of humor could make most people cry but you still made me proud. I have many different memories of you but some of my favorite memories are when you were with me, John and my girls, walks through the park and Christmas dinners, summers spent sitting out my dad's front, yous were hilarious grumpy old men but we loved it.
From Robynn being your nurse to Keira taking you by the hand to the shops and me and Mandy visiting when you were in bluevale.
Most of all, the memories from my mum and dads house are still so clear and that is where our bond began ❤️ sometimes I'd be in a huff when you and my dad took Chris and Robert out and left me behind but that didn't last long, when yous came back caked in mud, I was happy to get left behind. I realised you had a different bond with Chris and Robert, but you shared your time equally with us.
I could go on and on Uncle Rab, I really don't want to say goodbye, so I will say see you later. xxx
We are thankful for the time we shared and the memories we can keep.
I hope you are with our loved ones, give them all a hug. Tell Mandy I love her.

Rest in Eternal Peace My Angel 😇 💔

Never want to say good bye as you are always in my heart so I will see you on up there with gran and granda when it's my time.
You where the uncle I always wanted and would never change a single thing about you except to keep you here with all of us and you weren't just my great uncle and god father but the man I looked up to growing up you taught me a lot of things including how to play the drum 🥁 and songs 🎶 that would have got me in trouble lol and sneaked me humbug sweets but wasn't to tell Ashley.
You will always be in my heart and feel so honoured to have had you in my life rest in peace uncle rab G.B.N.F till we meet again ♥️🤍💙 xxx
