Your family did you proud today. Lovely send off for a lovely man π
Philip Anthony Bassom (13 Dec 1969 - 8 Jan 2024)
Funeral Director
Phil, a cherished man, leaves behind a legacy of warmth, foolish laughter and playfulness forever etched in the hearts of his family and friends. His endearing silliness, playful spirit, and boundless love made him a truly remarkable individual with a heart brimming with good intentions. Far from perfect, yet he was genuine, and itβs was within his flaws that Phil's true essence shone, making him a man we will all deeply miss.
Throughout the various stages of his life, Phil touched the lives of those around him, serving as a reliable pillar of support for different reasons. Whether it was during his younger years in school, the adrenaline-fueled days of banger racing, lending a helping hand to fix a car, sharing the love of music or simply being a friend to share a pint with, Phil's presence left a lasting impression on our hearts.
Whilst losing a love one at still such a young age is hard, may his memory bring a smile to your face during these dark days and remind us to embrace the joy that he so effortlessly brought into our lives.
Phil, known affectionately to many, was more than just a son, father, grandfather, brother, family member, or friend. To sum it up, Phil was more than a collection of roles; he was a tapestry of love, laughter, and irreplaceable moments. His impact goes beyond mere labels, and the void left by his absence is a testament to the uniqueness of his character. Phil will forever be remembered not just for the titles he held but for the incredible person he was.
Philip Anthony Bassom, a man who will never to be forgotten who sadly passed away on 8th January 2024 aged 54 years.
