kenneth halle (5 Nov 1941 - 16 Jan 2024)

In loving memory of Kenneth James Hallé who sadly passed away on 16th January 2024. Our Dad was born in Folkestone in 1941 on Bonfire night. His parents were Leslie and Mary. We don't know an awful lot about his Father but we do know he sadly passed away when Ken was about 21 and that had a big affect on Dad's life. Ken worked in the construction industry in Kent for many years, he relocated to Worcester for a period working in the same industry before returning to Folkestone where he met our Mum and his future wife Jude. Our Dad can best be remembered as being a doting and loving husband and Dad to me and my brother Andy when we were kids. He worked hard, money was always tight but along with our Mum they found a way to provide all we needed and more and built a platform for us to both build great lives. It is no secret that Dad had personal challenges later in life but he found solace in his creative hobbies of painting and poetry and still enjoyed finding bargains at boot fairs. Later in life he had a loving partnership with Maureen for many years and built a new life in Saltwood and New Romney with her, we were very happy for him. Dad's legacy will ultimately be us and his Grandchildren who he undoubtedly be extremely proud of. Rest in peace now Dad, we will never forget what you did for us. Love Matt & Andy xx
