In loving memory of Frederick James Whiting who sadly passed away on 1st January 2024, aged 83. Now reunited with his beloved wife Dianne.

My dad was a amazing father and grandfather.

Dad was born in Bestwood on the 22 April, 1940.
Dad married my mum in February 2, 1963.
They had 6 children. Susan, Gary, Michelle, Andrew, David and Lynda.
Dad loved, classical music, Rock and roll, food and cinema.
Dad had a variety of jobs, butcher, window cleaner, miner and cleaner for Boots.
Our dad was our friend, comedian and a great listener.
We are going to miss you! Love from Michelle xxx❤️❤️

The grief and loss are deep today,
but I know he wasn't here to stay.
I have hope and joy to replace the pain,
knowing I'll see Grandpa again.

I know we're missing his great love
but Grandpa's in heaven up above.
Swept up in peace and now he's free;
Grandpa's in heaven for eternity

Fred you will be greatly lived. You lived your life to the full, and had so many experiences. Some good, some not so. Dave and I have always said you had nine lives. I guess Heavenly Father said it’s time to come home. Rest in peace and be joyful you are now back with Dianne
