DEATH IS THE HARVEST OF TIME

It's such a shame to loose you . Though our meeting was just once. Your face is still fresh on my mind. I guess it was back in 1982 , when granny told that " your English uncle is going to come visit us". I only Englishman I ever knew were from the EPL and was excited. A true English gentleman were you. In that short time , you left an impression hard to
be erased. And as I read all that is written, I gather that you are a man of dignifying aura and always willing to help.
What comforts me in this time of sorrow, is knowing that you are in a better place watching over all your loved ones. Rest in peace my uncle Ken.

'Uncle' Ken you were a huge part of my childhood when we used to have family get togethers at each others houses. Karl, Clive myself and Annie would completely wreck the house with our crazy play ideas and we had such fun together. We saw less of each other as the years went by and we all grew up but I'll remember the occassions we did get together at family parties with such fondness, it was just like the old days with many laughs, jokes and complaining about the latest Notts County performance. You'll be missed. From a fellow 'pie'. xxx

even before we had the privilege to meet ken, we knew he was a great man from the character of the children he raised. his kindness was confirmed on the occasions we met him. it still brings a smile to our faces to think back to our dinners together and the strawberries. he always showed care and concern for our little ones. more than the thoughtful gifts he would bring for xabi and olive, it was his checking in with karl to ask how our family was that will always stick with us and shows just how considerate he was. we were terribly sad to hear of his passing but take solace in that he made a lasting impression on those that knew him.
