We are so sad to announce the loss of our beautiful, strong and loving Son, Harvey, who passed away on 5th November 2015, aged 20 years and 12 days.
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free; I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard His call; I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day; to laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way; I’ve found that peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; ah yes, these things too, I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savoured much; good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me. God wanted me now, He set me free.
At least we had the chance to say ‘goodbye’ and said our last ‘I love yous’.
We have the photos, the memories and the stories but we can’t believe we won’t hear your voice or feel your touch again.
We all miss you Son, now and forever.

A service of thanksgiving and celebration for Harvey’s life will be held on Friday 20th November at the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, Enderby at 12.30 pm, followed by Committal at Gilroes Crematorium, East Chapel.

Harvey, I still can't comprehend what has happened. You were such an unbelievably humble person and had such a lovely personality. You had an amazing send off and the amount of people that turned up to pay their respects proved what an amazing person you are. I'm not very good with words but I think you summed it up perfectly with your last words "I'm not going anywhere." You will always have a place in my heart. We used to have such a laugh playing Xbox together round grandma's and remember when we used to go round for dinner every Tuesday with Chris? I genuinely used to look foward to Tuesdays and that's saying something from a teenager haha. Also, not forgetting the time that I stayed over at yours for the night because my parents wouldn't let me watch Green Street 2 and then we played Call of Duty til the early hours of the morning. Harvey, you will be tremendously missed by an enormous amount of people. I love you so much mate.
